AMERICAN FOUNDRY SOCIETY AND NORTH AMERICAN DIE CASTING ASSOCIATION RENEW CASTEXPO CONTRACT WITH GES
Las Vegas, August 13, 2008 - After a highly successful introductory experience with GES Exposition Services (GES) during CastExpo 2008, the American Foundry Society (AFS) and the North American Die Casting Association (NADCA) have renewed their contract with GES to produce the 2010 CastExpo event and 2009 Metalcasting Congress. Sponsored by the AFS and the NADCA, CastExpo is the single largest trade show and exposition in North America for metal casters and industry suppliers.
GES has had extensive experience in producing heavy equipment exhibitions such as CastExpo, said Daniel Twarog, NADCA president. This expertise coupled with their impeccable service to exhibitors helped drive our decision to work with GES for not only 2008, but also 2010.
GES is pleased to have been part of the success of CastExpo 2008, and we look forward to working together again to produce outstanding events in 2009 and 2010, said Kevin Rabbitt, president and chief executive officer of GES. The S.U.R.E.SM way, which is our company-wide program that combines customer service training and process development with state-of-the-art measurement and tracking of service, enabled our dedicated team to provide superior service and support to our CastExpo clients.
AFS and NADCA selected GES based on the stringent requirements of the service levels expected by our exhibitors and that they could implement programs that would significantly improve the levels of service, said Jerry Call, executive vice president of AFS. Both AFS and our exhibitors are confident in the success of future shows because of our collaborative efforts with GES.
