GES UK supplied the external floor coverings and internal media pavilion—a suite of offices custom fitted into the main grandstand—for the Eton Dorney event at the Olympics. The venue setup included the installation of lounges, kitchens, and suspended ceilings. This event was referred to as the “best Olympic regatta ever” by the president of the rowing federation.
At the Exhibition Centre London (ExCeL) for the Olympics, GES UK delivered the full temporary overlay of the entire venue including specialist services such as electrical mains and distribution, installation of over 800 rigging points, retail units, acoustic and sports walling, custom structures and drapes.

FCC Environment’s goal was to engage and educate consumers on their five complex lines of business. The GES UK team designed a booth featuring a pod for each line of business, allowing the staff to fully demonstrate their services in a customer-friendly manner.
GES UK supplied and laid over 145,000 sq ft of flooring in a challenging waterside environment. Timing was critical as it needed to be changed between events and overnight, allowing athletes to run barefoot across the carpet.
Our UK team created an innovative 1000-seat, tiered amphitheater with a center stage for the Bett show. Attendees could easily learn about the latest technology used in the education industry with an unobstructed view from all sides.
FE is a British paper focused on education. For their booth at the Skills Show, our GES UK team built them a sustainable booth they could easily store and reuse after the show.
