"The Clients Always Write"

From: "Nevada Landscape Association"
To: Dick Mauer, GES Reno

"I just wanted to write and say 'Thank you!' You do such a marvelous job and I simply can't imagine working with anyone else. GES is a class operation and that is rare in this day and age. I believe this year was the most successful trade show and conference we have ever had and having GES as are decorator was an integral part of the success. I look forward to working with you again next year. Thanks again!"

From: "Western Regional Mortgage Brokers Conference"
To: Neil Mullanaphy, GES Las Vegas

"You may be aware that we produce an annual show in Las Vegas, and for the past several years, GES has been our contractor, and Nancy Davis our account manager. Last week, I received a call from a competing contractor. In the past, when this would happen, I would inform the person that we were very happy with GES, but if they wanted tom they could send me a packet/bid, and I would look at it. This time I responded differently. This time, I said: 'I am going to be completely honest with you. There is really no reason the send me a packet or bid. I have been with GES for all long as I have been with the show, four years. GES gives us great pricing and outstanding service. I'm sure your company has comparable pricing and service, but I see no reason to change contractors. In fact, the only reason I would ever consider looking at another exposition company, is if Nancy Davis were to leave GES.' Nancy is truly a great manager, and has been my 'rock' and an ally. She has helped me to be a better show manager, and has consistently worked with us to meet and exceed our goals and needs. I have told this to Nancy, but thought it would be important for you to know also. So often, we write to tell companies of the problems or difficulties that we have had. I feel it is equally important, if not more so, to let them know that they are doing an excellent job. For us, you are doing a great job, and Nancy is the reason."

"Hey Michelle! What a job you and your crew did for me.
I learned a lot from working with your crew - they are, hands down, the best I've ever worked with. It was a real pleasure to work with such a great group. I wish I could have them all meet me in Orlando next year!"

From: "Rocky Mountain Elk Foundation"
To: Dick Mauer, GES Reno

"Sorry for the delay in getting this letter off to you - I am still digging through my boxes and tying up loose ends. I've only been home a week or so, but it seems like a month! I thank you for everything you did to make my job such a pleasure. Having the convention in Portland made it a challenge this year, and I am so thankful I had you, Mark Kimball, and Karen Thompson (GES Seattle) to make things run smoothly. You guys are fantastic to work with and it makes my job easy working with such a professional group of people. We had a good show and it came together with very small bumps in the road. You and your staff should be commended for providing great service and attention to all our last minute requests. I am looking forward to starting on the Reno Elk Camp for next year. As soon as I get a site visit date nailed down, I'll give you a call. Thanks again for all your help and I look forward to working with you again in 2006. I'll talk with you soon."

"Today's market places high demands on people to perform to ever higher standards. I am pleased to say that thanks to Andrew Sansoni, Ray Devine, Lupe DeLeon, and the onsite GES support team that we had at the Point South Mountain Resort for our annual Market Convention, you have exceeded our standards and expectations. While it has been our largest show to date, it went ever so smoothly, without a single holdup that was noticeable from the outside looking in.
As we all know, perception is half the battle, and I believe that GES was perceived very well in Phoenix, AZ. Both suppliers and store owners were overall thoroughly impressed with the quality of workmanship everyone representing your company portrayed. Andrew, Ray, and Lupe were immediately responsive to the handling of any last minute on site items that came up. Andrew just might have saved the show by being proactive, and coming together with the hotel on a plan to keep the rain from ruining our exhibit hall. Thank you for your effort. You have shown us that the work ethic is not only alive, but healthier than ever. Once again, thanks for everything and we will be using GES on all of our future events."

"It is hard to believe that SID '04 has come and gone so fast, and that preparations for SID '05 in Boston are underway. I found it to be a pleasure to work with you and your dynamic GES staff. SID '04 went off without a hitch, and let me just say that I was absolutely amazed at how it all came together. The undivided effort and attention from GES prior to, during, and post show is unprecedented and did not go unnoticed.

Several SID exhibitors have contacted me with positive feedback concerning the show. The general consensus is that, 'This SID was the best yet and the Service Team was very accommodating, polite and cooperative.' Another exhibitor commented, 'We think it was one of the best shows we ever attended. The GES Seattle people were by far the best we have ever dealt with. We enjoyed the show and look forward to Boston next year.'
Thank you for all your hard work!"

"I wanted to let you know how much we appreciated working with Michael Ramsthaler (GES Reno). His attitude was fantastic. We have been to many shows and encountering a person with his qualities is rare. He acknowledged our needs and presented various ways to fulfill them in a friendly and professional manner. Our display arrived with a broken part and a couple of items missing. Michael was able to advise us on how to assemble the display with a minor modification, ensuring that it would be stable and professional in appearance.

We believe that an organization is reflected by its employee's actions. We applaud you for finding someone of Michael's caliber."

"The purpose of this letter is to compliment you and the GES team for excellence during the 2004 AUSA Army Medical Symposium and Exhibition, May 17-21, at the Henry B. Gonzalez Convention Center in San Antonio Texas. The AUSA Exhibit Hall was planned and executed in your normal professional manner. Additionally, your willingness to be a full team member by supporting symposium activities were noticed, and appreciated, by all members of the Industry Affairs Directorate. Please accept my personal thanks for another job well done!"

"I am just writing to tell you what a terrific team you have in Phoenix and what huge part they played in the success of our booth at the Couture Show this year.Rhonda made shipping and custom changes to the booth easy and cost effective. Everything was ready on time. Several times during the set up, Rhonda Mackenzie or Andrew Sansoni would check to make sure everything was ok.This was usually on the way to or from another booth they were assisting.

My biggest problem was the shipper who I had set up to move $60,000 worth of art to Las Vegas - he didn't show up.The artwork had to leave the JW Marriott (the space was booked for a wedding) and be delivered to the Bellagio in Las Vegas on Sunday afternoon. When my shipper didn't show up, your team made instant arrangements, beginning at 10 p.m., for pick up and delivery.By 10:30 p.m., the artwork was on its way out the door. That Sunday, it was delivered to the Bellagio's Grand Ballroom exactly at 4 p.m. - just as scheduled.NOW THAT'S A GREAT TEAM! I know the Couture Show is moving to Las Vegas next year, and I hope you'll be able to schedule Rhonda to supervise the show. Her experience with the customers and their needs is invaluable. It's difficult to set up in a new venue, and I know her history with the show would make things much smoother. Thank you again for having such an amazing team."

"I just wanted to take a moment to tell you how pleased we are with all the services Dick Mauer provided to make the 49th Annual IRA Convention in Reno an outstanding success!

Dick's commitment to the process was evident from the outset. He was very proactive, customer-service oriented, and he and the entire GES team in Reno provided an excellent product - a winning combination all the way around. Please accept our thanks and highest praise for Dick and his team member's efforts on our behalf. They were an integral part of the IRA team, and helped make the 2004 Convention the best in IRA history. I would also like to take a moment to mention Paula Powell, Mark Kimball, Carla Garozzo and Kelly Smith - all of whom did an outstanding job on our show. Obviously, many other GES staffers were involved - too many to name - but everyone was truly wonderful. Please accept my thanks and congratulations on your excellent leadership - it shows in the work of your staff."

From: Renal Physicians Association
To: Crystal Solomon, GES Washington, DC

"It was my pleasure to work with you on our 30th Anniversary Annual Meeting, March 20-22. As usual, GES did a fantastic job! Thank you so much for all your assistance and professionalism through the ever changing exhibit hall floor plan, and making sure that our exhibit hall was run smoothly. Please send a special thank you to Bill, Mike and the rest of the crew for the outstanding service they provided to me and our exhibitors. I very much appreciated having Bill around the whole meeting. The exhibit hall was one thing during the very busy meeting that I never worried about. RPA has used GES for several years now and it's nice to work with a company who knows your meeting, what you expect, and delivers time and time again.

We had over over 400 physicians, practice managers and other renal health care professionals in attendance. This was by far the most successful meeting to date and we are looking forward to improving on this success. We recognize that your participation contributes to the success to our meeting. Again, thank you for helping make our exhibit hall a huge success! And I look forward to another successful year in 2005."

"Now that the dust has cleared from the 2004 winter show schedule, I want to thank your for the extraordinary job you did coordinating shipping and storage between the FNAWS, Safari Club, Mule Deer and RMEF 2004 shows.

We exhibited at all four shows. Our booth and product crates were all exactly where they were supposed to be, on time and in excellent condition. The cost was very reasonable, which pleased our executives. And you solved a huge coordination effort for me, for which I am very grateful.

At the 2004 Winter Outdoor Retailer in Salt Lake, I mentioned my gratitude to Mark Kimball, who said you had taken on this project of your own accord. You are an asset to GES, and I want to make sure I thanked you personally."

To: Cyndi Dunn, GES Western Region

"On behalf of myself and the entire staff at Hobby Industry Association, I would like to commend GES Exposition Services on a job well done at the 63rd Annual HIA Convention & Trade Show last month in Dallas. This was our first year away from Anaheim in several years, and we had some concerns about what change would mean with regard to operational logistics and general customer service. It was for this reason that we decided to bring some of the key members of the GES Los Angeles team to Dallas with us. GES staff members from several cities worked together successfully over the course of the show. The result was a seamless transition from one city to another and a most successful event. I'm running out of positive things to say about John Roberts and Sally Sportsman! I cannot imagine working on a show without them, which is probably the highest praise that I can bestow. They are truly an integral part of our show's success. It was a pleasure, as always, to work with both of them."

"Following up the voice mail that I left you, I wanted to reiterate what a terrific job your entire team did. We had a very short move-in, but fortunately none of our exhibitors realized it. Your team did an amazing job with just two days, and I was very impressed with their performance.

As usual, Sharon did a great job. But I would also like to mention Sam Spalding who went right from the ASD show to our show without missing a beat. The rest of the team, including Dana, Tony and Jim did their usual terrific job.

I was never more worried about a move in than for this show because the schedule was so tight- but your team exceeds all expectations and produced a high quality show for us and for our clients. You personal attention to the ASI Show! is greatly appreciated."

"I wanted to write and say 'Thank You!' Once again, I am so thankful I have GES for the Nevada Landscape Association. I truly appreciate all the time and effort you took to assist me with my 14th Annual Trade Show and Conference at the Reno Hilton. Our show and conference were very successful. Your attentiveness and willingness to ensure that everything went well for me are part of what makes GES so special to me. No wonder I tell everyone "I love GES and the folks that work there. I look forward to the opportunity to work with you again next year."

"We would like to thank you for the tremendous support and assistance GES provided our Foundation Dinner last week. The evening surpassed all previous galas on every level. GES' creative and first-class signage, staging, and lighting were exceptional. Additionally, the video tribute was extremely well done and obviously appreciated by Susan.

We would like to thank you for the wonderful support and guidance of Sallie Sargent, whose professionalism and enthusiasm about the event from the beginning, has been remarkable.
Paul, it was wonderful having you and your company as such an integral part of this year's Foundation Dinner. We hope you agree the evening was a success and we welcome the opportunity to continue our partnership going forward."

"In reflecting on this past convention, we would be amiss to not give our sincere thanks and words of appreciation for your participation in NRB 2004. Please accept our grateful thanks for the key role you played in making us look good! Your tireless efforts behind the scenes did not go unnoticed and we want to thank you for your personal commitment to excellence in your work. Not only did you deliver on the basics of your commitment, you went the extra mile and served our convention as though you were one of our own staff. "Due to the outstanding service our company received, I am compelled to write a letter regarding two of your key employees, Marvin Neitzert and Tracie Warren, due to their exceptional professionalism, representation of your company and their follow up and follow through. I must admit that in my hurried and demanding schedule it is hard to impress me. Both of these individuals surely did. They met every timeline, when we were under pressure they went above and beyond the call of duty, returning phone calls very timely and, moreover, caring about our company's needs and the relationship. I just wanted to take a moment to recognize these outstanding individuals and to let you know I was truly impressed with them. As a result, I will continue to highly recommend GES in all my professional relationship and will utilize your services again in the future."

From: "The Humane Society of the United States"
To: Richard Clower, GES Atlanta

"This letter is to compliment the service and support we received over the past few weeks. At the last minutes, we needed to set up an account with GES. You were both prompt in your response to us, and efficient in helping us to take the right steps to establish an account. Your personal involvement made it possible for The Humane Society of the United States to successfully send, store, and deliver exhibit materials to our Pet Fest America Event. We received many compliments on your company's involvement for our latest event in Atlanta. I thought you would be interested in receiving some feedback. 'We had a wonderful experience with GES Expo Services with Pet Fest America in Atlanta. They were so accommodating and helpful throughout the whole business relationship - start to finish. They went the extra mile to get a fair price to far within our budget and also persuaded the four other GES offices and 2 additional outside Expo companies in the other PFA cities to do the same. During set up and teardown they provided personal assistance to all the sponsors and the HSUS booths. I received so many positive comments about them from everyone"
- Event Coordinator, Pet Fest America

Thanks again for being so very helpful and knowledgeable in helping to get our shipping, storage and delivery efforts of the ground. We are very appreciative and look forward to doing more business with you in the future.
