Yvonne Anderson
Associate Accountant
Las Vegas, Nevada

My relationship with my co-workers helps to make it easier for me to do my job. I know that if I am professional and gracious I can depend on them to help me complete my functions. If I need a job number added in the system, I know I can count on someone in finance to help me. I really need the help of others to do my job well and the employees at GES always are there to assist.

GES encourages work / life balance through the various activities they make available to the employees. GES gives employees the option to get involved and participate in activities such as picnics and raffles where we have the opportunity to win tickets to various shows. The vacation schedule is also excellent and allows me to spend time with friends and family.

The Associate Accountant function at GES is very important to our GES employees. Employees need to be paid for their out-of-pocket expenses, whether it be hotel expenses while working a show or expenses related to the purchasing of show equipment. Once I process expense reports, they are then coded to different jobs fields and it is important for me to code them to hit the appropriate jobs so that employees are reimbursed in a timely manner.

Our core values affect my job on a daily basis, especially “One Team ”. Internal customer service is reflected in my job everyday; in the way I treat employees who contact me for assistance. I need to be there to service our employees and resolve their issues so that they may continue completing their job successfully.

What our employees say “It is refreshing to feel appreciated for the work I do on a daily basis and further recognized through various company recognition programs for going above and beyond what's expected of me. “

What our customers say "On behalf of myself and the entire staff at Hobby Industry Association, I would like to commend GES Exposition Services on a job well done at the 63rd Annual HIA Convention & Trade Show last month in Dallas. This was our first year away from Anaheim in several years, and we had some concerns about what change would mean with regard to operational logistics and general customer service. It was for this reason that we decided to bring some of the key members of the GES Los Angeles team to Dallas with us. GES staff members from several cities worked together successfully over the course of the show. The result was a seamless transition from one city to another and a most successful event.”
