Health Care
Beyond competitive salary, GES offers a range of health care benefits to each full-time employee including their spouses and dependants, as applicable.
  • Our medical plans have options to meet individual needs. Various levels of coverage and cost structures enable our employees to make their coverage fit their needs. Benefit plans also include prescription drug coverage and Behavioral Health Care which covers mental health and substance abuse issues.
  • Dental plans include routine, basic and major dental work and orthodontia.
  • Vision plans offer coverage for office visits and contact lenses or frames and lenses.
  • Flexible Spending Accounts for Health Care and Dependent Care These accounts let employees set aside pre-tax dollars for a wide range of expenses that are not covered by the above plans (for example, co pays, over-the-counter medicine, laser eye surgery and other out-of-pocket expenses).
Planning for the Future
GES provides various ways for employees and their families to be secure in the future.
  • 401(k) savings plans allow employees to save for the future while lowering their taxable income. Employees make the decisions about how much they would like to save, and how they would like their savings invested. A portion of employee contributions are matched by GES. Loans are also available with our 401(k) program.
  • Basic Life and Business Travel Accident insurance is provided to each employee and paid for by GES. GES also makes available Supplemental Life and Dependant Life to meet the needs of each employee.
  • Short-Term Disability and Long-Term Disability benefits are available in the unfortunate event that an employee is unable to work due to an illness or injury.
Work/Life Balance

GES understands that life outside of work is important and offers various programs to facilitate balance.

Paid time-off is designed to allow each employee to achieve balance between home life and work life.
    • Vacation time is earned from the first week of employment with GES. Up to 10 days may be taken within the first year.
    • Absence pay is designed to protect employees against loss of pay due to illness, injury, emergencies and family matters.
    • GES also observes 10 paid holidays each year, some of which may be floating holidays.
  • Flexible work schedules are available to better meet the needs of employee’s time constraints. Flextime and compressed work weeks are options that may be available for employees.
  • Due to the cross country and sometimes international nature of our business, GES may offer relocation assistance to employees who may transfer to various GES locations. This assistance may include travel and moving costs associated with relocation.
  • GES offers an adoption benefit of up to $4,000 after six months of employment. This benefit may be used to assist with cost of legal expenses, agency fees, medical expenses and counseling fees related to adopting a child.
  • GES offers all full-time employees and their family members a program to help them manage personal and work-related issues. The Employee Assistance Program (EAP) is a confidential, counseling and follow-up program staffed by professionals to help employees with life challenges such as:
    • Marital/Family problems
    • Work-Related Problems
    • Legal Matters
    • Financial Concerns
    • Emotional Problems
    • Drug and Substance Abuse Problems
Employee Satisfaction

GES values our employee’s job satisfaction. Our annual Employee Satisfaction Survey is a tool for our employees to rate the success of GES and identify opportunities for increased satisfaction. Several programs and improvements have been implemented as a result of the annual survey; these include recognition programs, better internal communication, management and job specific operational training, and other considerable achievements.
