Our designers appreciate the importance
of dynamic visual presentations. They ensure a look
that is pleasing to
the eye and representative of your mission.
To meet
the objectives of your event, designers collaborate
with you on concept and theme development. Designs
can be approved by email and overnight delivery.
We use the very latest materials
and technology to bring visual impact to your event.
Floor plans are the road map of your tradeshow. To
guarantee everyone’s safety, we follow an
approval process that starts with you, the show
manager.
The development of the floor plan is
accomplished through a staged approval process.
- GES
provides you with a floor plan based on your
objectives and the scope of your event.
- Approved floor plans
are provided to the facility. Providing the facility
with this information allows
them to better anticipate your needs.
- The final
approval for safety is granted by the fire marshal.
This process is routine as
all plans
are drawn in accordance with current fire
safety regulations.
Our designers transform otherwise routine
fixtures and signage into eye-pleasing and cutting
edge environmental works – functionality
with intriguing form. They work with you to create
management areas that
are not
only memorable, but fulfilling in their purpose.
We understand that
signage and directional information must be clear
and understandable.
Signage must
become a familiar and recognizable “wayfinding
system”.
Wayfinding means knowing where you are,
knowing your destination, and finding
your way back. Exhibitors
and attendees become disoriented when
they cannot do any or all of these things – outside
or inside convention facilities.
Convention
centers are notorious for wayfinding
confusion. Even people who
have attended
other conventions at
a particular facility may be confused
finding their way around, since exhibit
layouts
and meeting rooms
usually change from one event to another.
We
will carefully plan and clearly label: exhibits,
demonstration areas, presentation
rooms, reception
areas, etc. and provide unmistakable
directional guidance.
A well-planned
and well-executed directional system in a convention
center will
help reduce the common
experience of information overload
and disorientation.
We employ this philosophy to develop
a fine-tuned system based upon
your requirements.
During the planning process,
the GES design team will submit perspective
drawings of
show elements
for copy
review and final approval. After
final
designs are approved, perspective
drawings are matched
with their
corresponding 3D color renderings
and compiled into a Show Design
Book. The
Show Design
Book is a compilation
of all approved design elements
and serves as a planning tool for future
shows.
